Sulfate, Potassium
Sulfate, Hydrochloric
Acid, and Alkyl
Benzene Sulfonic Acid. It is the only producer
of Sulfamic Acid in Indonesia and ranks among the world's
five largest producers of this product.

Establishment of PT.
Timuraya Tunggal, with its first factory built on
a 45,000 m2 site in Tangerang, West Java. |
| 1980 |
Began commercial operations
by producing Sulfuric
Acid, Aluminum
Sulfate, and Alkyl
Benzene Sulfonic Acid. |
| 1991 |
Pioneered the production
of Sulfamic
Acid in Indonesia. This new production unit
has an annual capacity of 7,200 tons |
| 1993 |
In line with the Company's
development and the increasing demand and customer
trust in our products, the Company further expanded
by building a new plant on a 140,000 m2
site in Karawang, West Java. |
| 1995 |
The Karawang
production unit, comprising Sulfuric
Acid II, Aluminum Sulfate II, and Sulfamic Acid
II, began commercial operations. |
| 1999 |
After weathering the
Asian crisis, Timuraya started to diversity into
the agro chemical business, specifically the fertilizer
business, with Ammonium Sulfate (ZA) as the first fertilizer product
manufactured at the Karawang Plant. |

| Timuraya will also pioneer the production
of Potassium
Sulfate (SOP/ZK) in Indonesia. This product is widely
used as fertilizer for tobacco plants, fruit trees, and
horticultural plants. In addition, Hydrochloric
Acid (HCl), a basic chemical, will also be on stream
in our Karawang plant to serve as a platform for the Company's
business development in the future. |
